TIEM Gives Back 2020

Published in News on Dec 2nd, 2020

As a company, it's one of our core missions to give back to causes we care deeply about.
This Giving Tuesday, we're rounding up our efforts over the past year in hopes to inspire and encourage others to consider ways they can give back too.

Vivid Pink for BCRF

For the past 4 years, we have partnered up with the Breast Cancer Research Foundation to join the fight against a disease that has effected so many. Maybe you've seen our pink shoes? You might even own one of our OG pinks! Each year, we create a new shade of pink slipstreams where 10% of the purchase price of each pair sold is donated to BCRF.

Along with the shoes, we host TIEM TAPS BACK — a series of charity cycling classes across the country that raise awareness and donations for this causes. Read more about past years here.

Hyper Blue for Two Ten

The Two Ten Footwear Foundation was created to improve the lives and careers of footwear employees. Our Hyper Blue Slipstream was originally created to be a give-back partner for theWIFI (Women in Footwear) branch of Two Ten. WIFI actively connects and inspires the industry’s most influential women and next-generation leaders through mentoring, educational programs, seminars, and special events.

Amid the COVID-19 crisis, we supported the efforts of Two Ten shifting to help families in the industry who are struggling due to the pandemic with our donation.

INSPIRING ACTION

Back in June, along with the majority of the country, TIEM was inspired to be a part of a bigger movement. Effecting change requires persistent and prolonged pressure, and we're committed to remaining a longterm ally in the fight for racial equality. We are committed to donating 5% of all sales through the end of 2020 to multiple social justice organizations.

In addition to listening and becoming more educated as team, we also worked to be a resource for the fitness community and support diversity in studios and ambassadors that we work with.

Please check back in January for a full post of the final donation.

SUPPORTING FRONTLINE HEROES

In response to the COVID-19 crisis, we began to find ways to support those on the front lines who were working endlessly to keep our community safe. As a Boston-based company, our support started locally at Beth Israel Hospital where we donated hand sanitizers and $15,000 worth of our Latus sneakers for the hospital employees.

For our national community, we temporarily discounted product and shipping for those looking to stay active while at home. We now permanently offer a discount to those working in healthcare.

To access this discount, just register through ID.me either at our checkout or on their site.

This Giving Tuesday, whether you're supporting your own local organizations, donating your time,or purchasing one of our shoes with a give-back initiative, let us know how you're inspired to give back today and everyday.
