Spotted: TIEM on the T for the PMC

Published in News on July 13th, 2022

If you live around the Boston area, you may have seen a special TIEM marketing initiative riding around town lately!

Massachusetts, home of TIEM HQ, is also the host of the Pan-Mass Challenge. The PMC is a fundraising bike-a-thon that raises money for the Dana Farber Cancer Institue, via the Jimmy Fund.

TIEM Athletic is proud to be a sponsor of this impactful event. Read on to learn more about the PMC and how to get involved!

    TIEM ATHLETIC & THE PMC

Since 2018, TIEM Athletic has been a sponsor of the PMC Winter Cycle held annually at Fenway Park in Boston, MA. This year, TIEM is thrilled to now be an official partner of the summer PMC ride in August! As a Boston-based company, supporting the PMC (which takes place just minutes outside of the city) really hits home. For years now, multiple TIEM employees have fundraised and participated in the August event, including TIEM founder Tracey McLeod-

“Having ridden the PMC with a team of friends and family for the past 10 years, I hold the mission, organization, and event close to my heart.” - Tracey McLeod

You can read more about TIEM's involvement here!

Held annually on the first week of August, the Pan-Mass Challenge was started in 1980 by Billy Starr to benefit the Dana Farber Cancer Institute via the Jimmy Fund. This bike-a-thon that takes riders on a journey across Massachusetts raises more money than any other single athletic fundraiser in the country. Riders participating in this event can choose from 16 fully supported routes, ranging from 25 to 211 miles, which means any level of cycling ability can participate! Staying true to their mission to make a difference, 100% of every rider-raised dollar goes to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. This event is Dana Farber's single largest supporter, having raised $831 million for Dana Farber since 1980.

Rider registration for this year is closed, however volunteers are still needed! Follow the link below to be a part of this big day.

    Making an Impact.

After 4 years of supporting the PMC Winter Cycle, TIEM Athletic is proud to be an official sponsor of the Pan-Mass Challenge for 2022.
