A: Thanks for reaching out! The Peloton bike will generally ship with pedals that are only compatible with a LOOK Delta cleat. Our shoe utilizes an SPD cleat, which is the far more common standard (many cycling studios will have pedals that can accept both SPD and LOOK Delta, but there are a lot that only offer SPD as well). You can easily swap out the pedals on your Peloton, however our shoes cannot be used with LOOK Delta cleats that come with your Peloton.

A: Thanks for reaching out! Because of the design of our shoes, we often receive inquiries about what activities they can be used for outside of cycling. The short answer is: the shoes are designed for cycling, so that is their lone intended use.

With that said, the design of the shoes means that they are much easier to walk in while off the bike, so whether it’s walking around your studio/gym or walking down the street from your home, the shoes are going to serve that purpose just fine. Some people also perform some light weightlifting or TRX training in the shoes before or after a ride.

The one thing you definitely can’t expect to do in the shoes is run. Since the shoe is designed for cycling, there is a stiff plate underfoot for transfer of force while pedaling. Of course, running shoes are designed to be extremely flexible underfoot for a reason, so you’re not going to want to run in any cycling shoes.

A: Unfortunately, we don't sell any "plugs" for our shoes, only Shimano SPD cleats on our site. We normally recommend to clip in for a more secure ride, but because of the stiff soleplate built for cycling, our shoes can still be worn for cycling without clipping in.
